Starfield players are embracing the cosmic horror of Shattered Space as the massive update the game desperately needed, but one dedicated user has gone out of their way to highlight every new point of interest. A common complaint about Starfield is that exploration often feels pointless given the lack of unique locations and landmarks scattered across its many planets. Running across an alien structure or outpost overrun by enemies may be fun the first time, but it quickly becomes stale when it's the only thing to see.
Fortunately, Reddit user paulbrock2 revealed that Shattered Space adds more variety to Starfield's exploration: Their datamine of the game's files confirmed that the DLC adds 20 random "generic" POIs to the game. It's currently unknown whether these discoveries are specifically tied to the expansion or if they can also be accessed by players who haven't purchased Shattered Space.
