World of Warcraft: The War Within's 11.0.5 update is coming soon and a huge new 20th Anniversary In-Game event will be taking place, bringing back none other than Leeroy Jenkins himself. While exploring the event on the Public Test Realm, players are reporting several famous characters from WoW's history making an appearance, including the group-wiping, chicken-loving legend himself.
Alongside Leeroy, some beloved characters from the past that appear include Mankrik and Hemet Nesingwary from Classic WoW, Lorewalker Cho and Farmer Yoon from Mists of Pandaria, Bartender Bob, originally from Hearthstone, and many, many more! These iconic and nostalgic characters showing up to the Anniversary Event are just one of many exciting additions coming to this game patch, which is expected to go live in November.
Blizzard shared an initial preview of the 20th Anniversary Celebration at the beginning of September. Since this preview, the patch has gone live on Public Test Realms.
