The mobile trading card game, Harry Potter: Magic Awakened is expected to be shut down in most parts of the world on October 29, 2024, but some passionate fans are hoping that it isn't too late to save it. Harry Potter: Magic Awakened has already been removed from the App Store and Google Play, despite only having launched in North America and Europe a little over a year ago. Portkey Games announced their decision on August 26, 2024, the same day the game was removed from the mobile market.

Harry Potter: Magic Awakened is a collectible card game mixed with RPG aspects that is set ten years following the events in the Harry Potter books. Despite receiving high reviews, with many praising its character designs and groundbreaking gameplay mechanics, the game is facing shutdown while a group of passionate players are making strides to stop the closure. Through an online petition started by Aethera Lawe on Change.org, players are hoping to convince NetEase Games to acquire the game and keep it alive.
