Rockstar has finally announced the Red Dead Redemption PC release date, bringing one of the industry's worst-kept secrets into the light at last.
As revealed in a news post on Rockstar's official website, Red Dead Redemption comes to PC on October 28th, and just like the PS4 and Switch releases that landed last year, the PC release will include the Undead Nightmare expansion as well.
Murmurs have been circulating about the PC release of Red Dead Redemption for some time now, but the strongest evidence yet for the port's existence came in August, when a since-deleted PlayStation Store listing all but confirmed the PC version.
The PC version of Red Dead Redemption is being developed alongside Double Eleven, which, I suppose, explains what the studio has been up to since it left the Prison Architect franchise earlier this year.
It'll include many of the usual PC enhancements you'd expect from a port like this, including native 4K, support for up to 144Hz refresh rates, and support for both ultrawide and super ultrawide monitors, as well as keyboard and mouse support.
You can also look forward to support for Nvidia DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR...
