Epic Games has announced that the next Fortnite Halloween event for 2024, known as Fortnitemares, will begin on Friday, October 11. Leakers had previously stated that the new Fortnitemares update would be released on October 15, as Tuesday is the usual day for new Fortnite patches, but Epic has now confirmed that the event will be kicking off four days earlier than fans originally anticipated.
Each year, fans patiently await the return of Fortnite's massively popular Halloween event and 2024 is no different. After kicking off the first Fortnitemares event in 2017, the yearly Halloween updates have been a big hit for the popular Battle Royale game, and feature plenty of spooky new Fortnite skins, items, quests, and more. While the length of the event has yet to be confirmed by Epic, fans can likely expect between two to three weeks of Halloween-themed content to get stuck into, including collaborations with Saw, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and much more.
