Stardew Valley may already allow Farmers to care for their own hutch of Slimes but after witnessing a terrified critter in action, the community wants to look after even more monsters. While it may not be all that intimidating compared to some of the creatures in the lower levels of the Mines, Rock Crabs have a certain charm to them that's undeniable. Protected by the stone they wear on their backs, players who want to eliminate the defensive invertebrates need to deal with their shells before doing anything else.
Posted to Reddit by user Spinach-is-Disgusten, the player shared a brief clip of their encounter with a Rock Crab that's had its shell destroyed, stating that they want to keep the monster as a pet.
It's not hard to understand their thinking: Seeing the tiny creature shivering amongst the rocks is a heartbreaking sight. The community almost unanimously agreed that adopting a little Rock Crab could be a great addition to the game despite their monstrous nature.
