Assassin's Creed Mirage is officially coming to Steam on October 17, Ubisoft has confirmed in a new post on the platform. The studio had previously announced it would be bringing many of its new releases back to Steam on day one and is now working on bringing older titles, such as Assassin's Creed Mirage, to the platform.
Back in September, Ubisoft gave fans the disappointing news that Assassin's Creed Shadows had been delayed. The next installment in the franchise is set to take players to the highly-requested location of feudal Japan and was originally set to release on November 15 but will now be released on February 14, 2025, as Ubisoft has allocated "additional time to further polish the title." Although the studio noted that the game is "feature complete," it highlighted the disappointing release of Star Wars Outlaws as the main reason for the delay.
Assassin's Creed Mirage is now one year old, which means it's time to look back on what this particular installment meant for the series as a whole.
