GreedFall 2: The Dying World just got an update, addressing some complaints from fans. However, developer Spiders is also promising larger updates further down the line, as it admits that the current combat system needs "drastic improvements".
This comes after GreedFall 2 launched in early access to negative reviews, with fans of the first game complaining about the new combat mechanics. While Spiders is adamant that it isn't going back to the old combat system, it's now pledging to make changes to the new mechanics, more specifically promising to improve the controls and make it more fast-paced.
This comes from a new blog post, detailing today's GreedFall 2 update, as well as what we can expect from future patches and hotfixes.
"While we do not intend to revert to the old system from [GreedFall], we know the current system needs drastic improvements to make it fun for everyone," the post reads. "The key elements the team is currently working on thanks to your feedback are: Faster pacing with more responsive actions and animations, better accessibility with improved onboarding and options, better controls to macro and micromanage your party, and more."
