In case you might've forgotten — and we don't blame you if you have — Arkane Studios is working on a video game centered around Blade. The game, which was originally revealed nearly a year ago, will bring the half-human, half-vampire to the world of consoles.
However, in the time since the game's initial reveal at the 2023 edition of The Game Awards, details have been relatively scarce. We know that Arkane's Lyon studio is developing it, and that Bethesda will, of course, publish it. We also know that, via the game's description, it'll be a "mature, single-player, third-person game set in the heart of Paris," and is "now in development in collaboration with Marvel Games."
But that's about it. Heck, we don't even know what platforms the game will be debuting on, though whatever iteration of Xbox is out will surely be one of them, or its release window. That said, via a new blog post on Arkane's website in honor of the studio's 25th anniversary, we have a few more details to glean.
Arkane's recent games have leaned away from what made it a special studio. Hopefully Blade is a chance to pivot back.
