Scary news has surfaced for Fortnite fans, as the developers have released an update stating the Fortnitemares event has been delayed. Despite developers moving quickly and providing updates about the delayed launch, some fans quickly took to X with a mixture of emotions, ranging from frustration to understanding.
The event will unfortunately be delayed due to time constraints, now launching on Saturday at 2 AM instead of the original Friday release date.
Developers had initially planned for Friday as the release date for the chilling event but decided to postpone the launch to finalize everything and ensure it was in working order. After announcing what was supposed to be a short delay at 1:52 AM on X, FortniteStatus followed that up with another statement at 3:01 AM saying that the launch had been moved up a whole 24 hours and would now take place on Saturday.
