Per Gematsu, Xbox Game Pass is gaining MechWarrior 5: Clans on October 16, the same day it arrives on PC and PlayStation 5. A return to the more traditional narrative-forward MechWarrior titles, developer Piranha Games promises that Clans will deliver the exciting story-driven campaign fans have been craving without sacrificing the depth of its strategic battles. Building upon the foundations of MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries, Clans is a standalone experience that dives into the franchise's lore, allowing players to team up with up to four friends to survive the notorious Operation Revival.
