The newest reveal of Pokémon TCG: Surging Sparks cards contains some fun ones, and an Illustration Rare for Alolan Dugtrio could be an especially memorable addition. Set to release on November 8, the Surging Sparks expansion will be the latest in the Scarlet & Violet lineup. Themed around the diverse environment of the Terarium from The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk DLC, the cards should cover a lot of ground.
VGC revealed an official first look at four cards from Surging Sparks focused on the Diglett evolutionary line. The selection consists of a new Alolan Diglett, Alolan Dugtrio, an Alolan Dugtrio Illustration Rare, and a Surfer Trainer card.
Each of the cards appropriately features a tropical environment, with artwork of Diglett and Dugtrio that shows them in front of blue ocean waters or palm trees. The Surfer card depicts a winking surfer with his board clutched under an arm, ready to tackle any swells.
