Honkai: Star Rail has finally revealed one of the game's longest-rumored characters, with Fugue confirmed to be coming with the Version 2.7 update as a new version of Tingyun. The roster of the popular sci-fi RPG from HoYoverse has featured plenty of unique characters for players to choose from, with many having different playable versions. Multiple members of the game's cast of starter characters have seen new forms released, including March 7th's Hunt variant and five-star character Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae. Now, another popular character is set to return to Star Rail in a new way.
Since the earliest days of Honkai: Star Rail's life, one character from the Xianzhou Luofu has been heavily rumored to eventually make a return. Tingyun played a major role in the story of the initial visit to the Xianzhou Luofu, acting as a guide for players and later revealed to be an impostor created by Phantylia. Since her supposed death, numerous rumors have suggested that players may eventually see the real Tingyun added to the game. Now, Honkai: Star Rail's newest announcement has finally confirmed the debut of the real Tingyun.
