Diablo 4 Fans Claim There May Be A “Huge Drop Off Of Players” After Spiritborn Class Changes

The Spiritborn class has been getting a lot of attention in Diablo 4, and Blizzard is addressing and patching a known bug with the Evade build. While fixing a bug is not usually a game-breaking issue, the Evade build is highly acclaimed by many, making some fans wonder if it's a simple patch or a nerf.

In a recent X post from community lead Adam Fletcher, also known as @PezRadar, the developers noticed a bug at the heart of the Spiritborn's Evade cast animations, causing some players to use it to their advantage. The bug is said to be able to break animation frames during Evade, making Evade castable in rapid succession. This bug will be patched out, making the standard Evade cast rate present in all situations, stopping players from exploiting the known glitch.

While most bugs and glitches are thrown into the mix of other hotfixes during the next patch day, Blizzard wanted to fix this build exploit as soon as possible. As mentioned by Fletcher in the X post, when a bug begins to impair and negatively impact players in-game, they will make changes with haste. While some fans are happy to see this "broken" build...
