The Nintendo 64 is easily one of the better gaming systems, despite what some people have said… outside of that horrible controller. Now, Analogue, the company behind the Super Nt, Mega Sg, and Pocket, has revealed its next product, the Analogue 3D – A modernized Nintendo 64. Sounds like something that a few retro game collectors I know would be interested in. The Analogue 3D will go up for pre-order on October 21, at 8 AM PDT / 11 AM EDT, priced at $249.99, and will come in black and white versions.

The Analogue 3D will be compatible with every Nintendo 64 game ever released and will support 4K resolution, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and the Expansion Pak. It’s also region-free. Plus, it will feature four controller ports, so you can go old-school and use the original Nintendo 64 controllers with it.

The best part is that the Analogue 3D, like all of Analogue’s other products, is based on MiSTer FPGA—a project dedicated to recreating classic hardware. There’s no emulation involved here, only hardware, which means no errors and you won’t feel bad buying a console that is being emulated.
