Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is coming to PC, with a confirmed release date of January 30, 2025. Last year, Insomniac continued its open-world superhero saga with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which featured both Peter Parker and Miles Morales as playable characters in a darker plot that saw the introduction of classic villains like Venom and Kraven the Hunter. Spider-Man 2 was met with widespread critical acclaim and commercial success at launch, with many praising it for refining the gameplay that made Marvel’s Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales smash hits for PlayStation.
Like many recent first-party PlayStation titles, both Marvel’s Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales eventually made their way onto PC by way of developer Nixxes Software, which has handled similar ports of games like Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut and the upcoming Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered. Many fans figured it would only be a matter of time before Spider-Man 2 made the jump as well, especially given Sony’s track record of releasing games on PC a few years after their PlayStation launches.
While Spider-Man 2's combat is more fluid than ever, it still fell short of Insomniac's earlier expectations for the game....
