PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers can look forward to playing FBC: Firebreak on the day of its release in 2025. PlayStation Plus Extra doesn't get nearly as many day one games as its chief competitor, Xbox Game Pass, but day one games do hit that tier of the service on occasion.
There are no day one PS Plus Extra games for October 2024, but the September 2024 lineup included The Plucky Squire, a well-received Zelda-like action-adventure game. Earlier this year, Animal Well debuted on PS Plus Extra, which was especially notable as that game is one of the year's highest-rated new releases. Now those signed up for the Extra tier of PlayStation Plus have even more to look forward to, as yet another game has been confirmed as a day one release.
