Black Myth: Wukong developer Game Science has finally confirmed an imminent physical release for the game's PlayStation 5 version. Having launched in a digital-only format back in August, many Black Myth: Wukong players on PS5 voiced demand for a physical version, and it looks like their pleas will be fulfilled very soon.
In less than two months after its release, Black Myth: Wukong has accrued stratospheric levels of success for Game Science. Players have extensively showered the game with praise, and recent reports suggest that Black Myth: Wukong has raked in over $1 billion in revenue on Steam alone. Considering Black Myth: Wukong's rumored budget of $43 million, Game Science's return on investment is exceptional here. What makes Black Myth: Wukong's sales even more impressive is that the game is available on only two platforms - PS5 and PC.
