Fans of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will need to accept that Insomniac Games isn't planning to release any more content for the popular open-world game. After the first entry in Insomniac's take on the Web-Slinger received a trio of middling story-focused expansions, the community hoped the studio would build upon the sequel having learned from the mistakes of the past. As it turns out, that won't be the case but there is good news for PC players who have yet to experience the game on PlayStation 5.
Posting on the official PlayStation Blog, Insomniac Games confirmed that there won't be any DLC for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 while also announcing that the game is launching on PC on January 30, 2025:
"While we have no additional story content planned for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 , we’re delighted to bring all of our previously released post-launch content to the PC version, including New Game+, new suits and color variants, Photo Mode features, and more."
The PC version of the game will include all the content added to Spider-Man 2 through free updates; That includes 12 new suits, Ultimate Levels, additional Symbiote Suit styles, Time-of-Day options, and post-game achievements....
