It Takes Two creator Hazelight Studios is working on a new game reportedly titled "Split Fiction," which may also be a possible nod to its gameplay. After It Takes Two, the Swedish developer is now focused on shipping its third consecutive EA-published game.
On October 17, Hazelight Studios head Josef Fares posted an intriguing tweet, partially revealing the name of the studio's forthcoming game. They confirmed that it was a new IP, while revealing their excitement to give out more information in the near future. On the same day, the studio's official Twitter account further stoked the flames by sharing a cryptic image that contained multiple clues about its next project. Based on what's been revealed so far, it's strongly suggested that the Sweden-based studio is making yet another co-op game, building on what they learned from hits like A Way Out and It Takes Two. Lately, a new report has also shed light on what may be the title of the indie developer's next game.
With audience demand for more story-driven co-op games, a direct sequel to Hazelight's It Takes Two could fly even higher than the original.
