New For Honor Event is Inspired by Destiny 2

For Honor has revealed the details of its upcoming in-game Halloween event, which is inspired by Destiny 2. Although For Honor was first released back in 2017, Ubisoft Montreal's action-packed title continues to receive new content updates.

In the time since For Honor's release, the game has crossed over with various different franchises, notably Assassin's Creed and Dead by Daylight. It has been interesting to see what's around the corner next, with Ubisoft continuing to update the game with fresh content pretty regularly for a game of its age. Earlier this year, Ubisoft even released a For Honor co-op mode for free, offering a unique PvE experience for both long-time and new players.

"Live-service" may be a bad word in modern gaming culture, but these games prove that there's a good reason for the model's existence.

For Honor posted the trailer of its upcoming Destiny 2 crossover, and it looks awesome. It teases an invasion of the Destiny Scorn in the world of For Honor, which serves as the premise of the entire thing. Lore-wise, it doesn't make a ton of sense for either franchise, but it's so cool that it's pretty easy to forgive...
