The developers at Team17 confirmed that Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition will be getting three classic Worms games in its playable lineup, which includes entries from the SNES, Game Boy Advance, and Sega Genesis. Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition is a remaster of the 1999 classic turn-based PC game, courtesy of Digital Eclipse. The Worms Armageddon remaster first launched in September for Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S consoles with crossplay support. Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition also includes a museum chronicling the history of the long-running video game series.

The Anniversary Edition remaster also included the Game Boy Color version of Worms Armageddon, an abridged version of the game that cut out most of the features to make it portable. This is especially notable since Worms: Armageddon's other versions never got re-released before, aside from the PC version's anniversary remaster. However, Team17 recently announced three classic Worms games that were released exclusively for certain consoles will be coming to Worms: Armageddon's lineup.

Date Everything is pushing its release day back, which may be disappointing, but gamers will find that its new launch date fits a lot better.
