The PlayStation 5 has recently lost its Resume Activity ability. The popular feature was removed without much fanfare, causing confusion among PS5 owners.
Much like its name implies, the Resume Activity button previously allowed users to jump straight back into their most recently played game (which supported the feature), continuing where they left off rather than cold-booting it. But it disappeared following the release of the PS5 firmware update 24.06-10.00.00, which rolled out in mid-September 2024.
