Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is about to douse its fire for good but Nintendo has finally given players what they've been asking for by locking in a release date for the game's paid version. Going a route that most mobile games from major publishers should entertain, Nintendo impressed the Pocket Camp community when it announced that it was shutting down the app's servers but was working on a system that would allow fans to keep playing. The solution was a reworked experience that includes everything users have come to love but without all the microtransactions.
Per a video posted to YouTube, Nintendo confirmed that Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete will hit iOS and Android devices on December 3.
Fans who want to make the transition will need to fork over $10 for this version of the app, which may seem expensive but it's worth noting that the price will increase to $20 on January 31, 2025, so it's recommended that interested players get a foot in the door early. Nintendo also revealed some additional information regarding what players can expect from this revised app and it all sounds promising.
