Capcom is Reportedly Finding Incredible Success on PC

Over 50% of all Capcom games sold during the first half of the current fiscal year have been on PC. The release of popular titles like Dragon's Dogma 2 and Resident Evil 4 Remake have boosted PC sales for Capcom, with the company likely to see even more growth on the platform over the coming year.

Best known for franchises like Resident Evil, Street Fighter, Monster Hunter, and Mega Man, Capcom has been a driving force in the gaming world since the late 1980s. The past decade has been particularly kind to the Japanese developer, with 2018's Monster Hunter World selling over 25 million copies worldwide and the recent Resident Evil remakes finding incredible success with newcomers and longtime fans alike. Despite a lull in releases over the past six months, Capcom is on target to meet its annual forecast, with sales on one particular platform doing surprisingly well.

Capcom expresses its desire to bring back and re-release even more of its fighting game back catalogue for modern systems.
