Epic Games has officially confirmed that it will be ending Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 and starting Remix Chapter 2 with a brand-new live event known as Remix: The Prelude. After the huge success of Fortnite OG last year, Epic is once again bringing back a classic map as the next season will see players return to the Chapter 2 island, but not before another massive live event takes place on November 1.
Fortnite OG was a short, one-month-long season that took players on a nostalgia trip as Epic brought back the game's very first map, as well as Chapter 1's weapons, items, vehicles, and more. The special season was a huge success for the studio, as Fortnite smashed its player count record with over 44.7 million players and 102 million hours played in just a single day. Fans have been begging Epic to bring back Fortnite OG as a separate playlist ever since, but the studio is opting to go one better by releasing Remix Chapter 2 this weekend.
