Mortal Kombat 1 is about to welcome another horror icon to its ranks and fans will be pleased to know that they're just around the corner. The latest entry in the beloved fighting game franchise has already provided players with some excellent guest fighters: Invincible's Omni-Man has shown up to cause untold damage to the subway and The Boys' Homelander melted the competition with his laser vision. The next brawler may not have superpowers, but they'll more than make up for that with cunning and some surprising teamwork.
Confirmed via a trailer on YouTube, NetherRealm Studios announced that Ghostface, the iconic villain of the Scream series, is coming to Mortal Kombat 1 in Early Access on November 19 and will fully release on November 26.
The gameplay trailer showed off some spooky snippets of the serial killer in action, demonstrating that their collection of masks has been expanded with a variety of cosmetics. Some of the more visually interesting masks have been inspired by Scorpion, Baraka, and even The Terminator, but they all retain that same gaping Ghostface mouth.
Ghostface is arguably one of the most iconic horror villains of all time, joined by the likes of Jason Voorhees...
