Xbox parent Microsoft has reportedly revealed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was an unprecedentedly successful launch in the history of the highly decorated franchise and also for Xbox Game Pass. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is the 21st entry in the long-running series and was released on October 25, 2024, for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Last week, Black Ops 6 became the first Call of Duty game to have a day-one launch on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, setting an exciting precedent for the subscription service.
