Borderlands 3 released just a short time ago, and it's already time for its first seasonal event with Halloween just around the corner. Called the Bloody Harvest, it will run from October 24th through November 5th, with a slew of new loot to loot and enemies to shoot. Oh, and you'll be going to Heck.
Heck is a new zone to explore, where the Bloody Harvest takes place. Its full of reanimated enemies, big ol' beasts, and a new boss to take on. To guide you through, Heck you'll have a trusty guide, Maurice. Get used to Maurice, too, as he'll be your guide to all future events.
To get more specific, a new Legendary shotgun can be had, named Fearmonger, from the Bloody Harvest. It has a random chance to drop from enemies.
You'll have to put in some work to get to Heck, as well. No just jumping right in. Haunted Enemies will have invaded Borderlands 3 around every corner, and you'll have to take them out to collect the spooky Hecktoplasm. Once you get enough Hecktoplasm, Maurice works his supernatural powers to get you into Heck.
There are things to do outside Heck too, of course. Some new challenges are available, which you can complete to get skins for each vault hunter. There's more skins and other things to keep an eye out for too.
There's still a "spooky surprise" in store for Borderlands 3, with the birthday celebrations that have been ongoing this month for the franchise. We'll have to wait and see what that is on the 29th.
