A Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 player managed to reach the coveted Prestige Master rank in multiplayer in less than a week's time. The player appears to be one of the first people to ever reach Prestige Master in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, but the achievement is slightly controversial due to the involvement of their team.
On October 25, Black Ops 6 launched with 16 multiplayer maps, including 12 6v6-focused maps and four Strike maps. In the days following the game's launch, many players have been working toward reaching max level and hitting the first Prestige rank, since Black Ops 6 marked the return of the traditional Prestige system that fans enjoyed in Black Ops 1 and 2. Activision and Treyarch also hosted Call of Duty's official "Race to Prestige" Twitch event after launch, which saw multiple teams compete to be the first to reach Prestige Master.
