BioWare Has Disappointing News for Dragon Age: The Veilguard Fans

BioWare recently revealed that Dragon Age: The Veilguard will not have any post-launch DLC. Despite Dragon Age: The Veilguard’s success, BioWare wants to focus on its future projects, following a different path than the one the studio took after Dragon Age: Inquisition’s launch.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard was released on October 31 after around nine years of development. The previous game in the franchise, Dragon Age: Inquisition, was launched in 2014, and it had three DLCs: Jaws of Hakkon, The Descent, and Trespassper.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard took a big leap with its art style, and it will be interesting to see how Mass Effect 4's graphics contrast it.

BioWare’s creative director John Epler recently revealed to Rolling Stone that there are no plans to develop DLC for Dragon Age: The Veilguard. As soon as the new Dragon Age is fully patched, the studio’s entire focus will shift to the development of the upcoming Mass Effect game.
