Nintendo might still be being coy when it comes to revealing something, anything about the Switch's successor, but it's not like the studio has been ignoring us entirely. As it continues to get its ducks in a row ready for its Switch 2 reveal it has been making people happy with various other smaller announcements. This week, one of those smaller announcements was actually quite a big one as Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition was revealed.
The Switch version of the Wii U game will be more than just a port. The Definitive Edition of Xenoblade Chronicles X will include remastered visuals and additional content. It continues Nintendo's trend throughout the Switch's run of reviving fantastic Wii U games that barely anyone played due to the console's poor sales. It joins the likes of Super Mario 3D World, Pikmin 3, and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, but there are still some games trapped on the Wii U that Switch owners are hoping get the port treatment.
