Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Adds Day-One Game and 2 Beloved Classics

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate users will be able to start playing Metal Slug Tactics as part of their subscription starting today, November 5. In the meantime, a pair of beloved classics just became available on two Xbox Game Pass tiers.

With only 10 new games, October has been one of the least release-packed months of 2024 for Microsoft's subscription service. But things are now seemingly picking up again, not least because Xbox Game Pass already has 7 confirmed titles for November 2024.

PC Game Pass adds a former Epic Games Store exclusive with positive player reviews approximately 18 months following its original release.

The first three of those include Metal Slug Tactics, a day-one release that's scheduled to reach the XGP content catalog circa 9am ET on November 5. Meanwhile, StarCraft Remastered and StarCraft 2: Campaign Collection have already been added to Xbox Game Pass around midnight. Since neither of them has a console version, they are exclusively playable via PC, and don't support Xbox Cloud Gaming. As for Metal Slug Tactics, the new turn-based strategy game will be both streamable and available on PC and the latest two generations of Xbox consoles.
