Elon Musk is a gamer. That much is true, as the Twitter CEO (not calling it X) has gone on record multiple times explaining how much he loves video games, and has waded into the politics surrounding various games like Assassin's Creed Shadows, albeit usually on the wrong side. He's also fairly well known in gaming circles for having an atrocious Elden Ring build, so we can safely assume he plays and enjoys video games.
He doesn't have a reputation for being very good at them though, which is why Musk's recent claim that he's actually one of the top 20 best Diablo 4 players in the world raised more than a few eyebrows. Musk made this declaration during an episode of the Joe Rogan podcast earlier this week, claiming that he's in the top 20 on a leaderboard along with just one other American. Sounds pretty good, until you actually dive in and check for yourself.
