The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is arguably one of the most important and influential indie games out there, helping shape the indie scene into the behemoth that it is today. Despite the series being over a decade old at this point, the game is still going strong, thanks to various DLC packs and upgrades that constantly add more and more features to help you spend an ungodly amount of hours completing everything.
On the game's 10th anniversary earlier this week, creator Edmund McMillen announced that players will be able to drag their friends into the time sink that is The Binding of Isaac later this month, revealing that the long-awaited online co-op mode will launch on November 18. This mode had been in beta testing since September, but now sounds like it's ready to go.
According to McMillen, this co-op mode will have completion markers for players to reach, will have 2 - 4 player support, and will be absolutely free to download, meaning you won't have to spend a single dime to start mucking around in the... muck with friends.
