The Until Dawn remaster launched to lukewarm reviews, but the developers behind the current-gen update are working to improve the game's fortunes.
Unfortunately for PC players, this focus on polish has held back update 1.06 on the platform, as Ballistic Moon continues testing to ensure the patch is not a dud.
Despite this, the developers are pushing the update to the PlayStation 5, largely to have Until Dawn ready to go when the PlayStation 5 Pro hits the shelves on November 7.

PlayStation 5 Graphics Settings
The PS5 and PS5 Prowill have the option for Performance and Fidelity mode. Performance tries to maintain steady FPS at all costs, whereas Fidelity pushes for better graphics even if it comes at the cost of frames.
Crashes and Soft Locks
Patch 1.06 has killed some crashes identified during the early playing.
Pausing the game during pre-rendered videos no longer crashes the game, and the crash reporter works even if there is anti-virus software active.
The lodge sequence in Chapter 2 also no longer triggers a crash.
