Warner Brothers has planned a sequel to Hogwarts Legacy and multiple new avenues for fans to interact with the Harry Potter franchise. These include the Hogwarts Legacy sequel to the first game, as well as a new HBO series and merchandise for fans to collect.

The revelation of a sequel to Hogwarts Legacy is breathing life into an almost thirty-year-old franchise, giving fans new ways to interact and enjoy all that Hogwarts has to offer.

Warner Brothers has gone on the record stating they are investing a lot of time and energy into the Harry Potter franchise. According to Jennifer Maas at Variety, the leadership team is prioritizing a sequel to the popular title Hogwarts Legacy. This game is a “very big priority” for the C-level executives at Warner Brothers, who were encouraged by the positive fan response to the game. The open-world spell-casting title has sold 30 million copies and was the highest-selling game of 2023.
