PC gamers no longer have to worry. It has been announced that Hideo Kojima's title Death Stranding will be coming to both Steam and Epic Games Store when it releases sometime next year.

In a blog post on their website, publisher 505 games reassured fans by announcing that the ambitious title will release on both platforms. "Last week, we unveiled the exciting news that 505 Games will bring Hideo Kojima's genre-defying Death Stranding, to PC next Summer," states 505 Games Senior Community Manager Antonela Pounder. "We've been flooded with questions across our social channels since and the response off the back of our announcement has been overwhelming."

"Now for the news that many of you have been waiting for... Death Stranding will launch simultaneously on both Steam and the Epic Games Store, priced at $59.99/£54.99/59.99 Euros."

It was recently announced that Death Stranding would release on PC in Summer 2020. Gamers can now take a breath knowing that both platforms will give them access to Kojima's latest title.

Death Stranding can already be pre-ordered on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. You can purchase from Steam here, and from the Epic Games Store here. The PC listings do not offer any details on system requirements. They do state that the game will feature partial controller support, and will give players the option to choose from English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), and Japanese for full audio, and 20 different languages when it comes to interface and subtitles.

Death Stranding just released for the PlayStation 4. The game stars Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Lea Seydoux, and Lindsay Wagner. The game received a 85 Top Critic Average on OpenCritic, and earned a Mighty Rating. 505 Games did state that gamers should keep an eye on their social channels for more information on the PC version of the game, which would include a definitive release date.
