TiMi Studios is celebrating the successful launch of Call of Duty: Mobile with a slew of in-game events this week, including double XP days and more. The biggest news for fans, however, is likely the team's promise that the much requested Zombies mode is on the way to the game. Though they offered no definitive timetable on the addition of the undead, the Call of Duty: Mobile team said in a Reddit post that Zombies "will be at [players'] fingertips before you know it."

TiMi Studios also revealed a Call of Duty: Mobile-exclusive in-game items that benefit the Call of Duty Endowment, a charity designed to help returning soldiers from the US and UK find jobs after their service. Like in Modern Warfare, these items will be optional and goes directly to the charity. The studio has not yet revealed the specifics of these incoming items.

The team also took some time to address some of the other highly requested features, including better reporting of cheaters and the always in-demand controller support for their mobile game. Regarding cheaters, the team said their policy is defined by Activision's umbrella policy that deals with mobile security and enforcement and they will "appropriately investigate and enforce on any players who are found to be cheating."

TiMi Studios has asked players to send the most robust cheater report they can, which ideally includes screenshots/video, the username of the suspected cheater, and the date and time of the match.

As for controller support, the team again offered no concrete launch date, but said they're planning to release controller support "soon," and currently they holdup is due to them optimizing matchmaking for those incoming controller-wielding players.

Call of Duty: Mobile launched on October 1st as a free-to-play game on iOS and Android devices. According to Sensor Tower, in its first month, the game had over 148 million downloads and generated nearly US$54 million in revenue.
