Warner Bros. revealed that iconic characters Raven and Marceline the Vampire Queen will join the free-to-play MultiVersus roster of playable characters in season 4. The DC Comics superhero Raven will be playable when the new season starts on November 12th, but fan-favorite Adventure Time character Marceline will arrive later. The addition of Raven and Marceline comes with two new battle passes and will grow the roster of playable characters from 31 to 33, headlining the 10-week-long season.
Warner Bros. also released a gameplay trailer for Raven, showing off her fighting skills as a Mage-class character and how the use of her pet bird Lenore can assist in battle and extend combos, as explained to Gematsu. This continues the company's push to make MultiVersus a viable fighting game alternative to Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. Previously, content found within the game's files leaked online, showing Marceline in her Bat Queen form as well as new stages from Samurai Jack (Back to the Past) and Adventure Time (Candy Kingdom) that will arrive in season 4.
