Totems are meant to make traveling to specific locations in the game much faster, but what happens when a player forgets to clear the way and has no tools on them? This fan found out the hard way that there is only one way out from this exact scenario.

In a recent Reddit post, awkwardgodess discusses how their quickest option to get home became their worst nightmare. Having put their ax in a chest before embarking on a journey for the day, they used a totem from the beach to get back to the farm, only to realize they had never cleared the pathway in front of the totem's location.

While using a totem to get back home is rarely an issue, awkwardgodess just so happened to leave their ax behind, meaning they could not clear out the farm's return point, which had a piece of wood blocking their path home.
