Upcoming cozy adventure game Infinity Nikki has revealed some more aspects of its powerful outfits that players will be able to utilize in the game's open-world format. Infinity Nikki will carry on the classic dress-up appeal of its mobile game predecessors while adding a magical adventurous element.
The Nikki franchise started in 2012 with the release of Nikki UP2U: A Dressing Story by Chinese development studio Papergames. While the original mobile game focused on dressing Nikki appropriately to go out into the world for everyday events such as eating at a restaurant, subsequent releases, like 2019's Shining Nikki, included RPG-like Styling Battles, which Nikki can win through upgrading her stats and competing against opponents. In December 2022, a new Nikki game by former Legend of Zelda series director Kentaro Tominaga was announced, bringing the series off the mobile screen and to the PlayStation brand in a magical adventure format.
Fans of the Nikki Up2U series have the chance to sign up and playtest the new installment, Infinity Nikki, before its official launch.
