Overwatch 2 has officially revealed Overwatch: Classic – a limited-time game mode that rolls back the clock, featuring iconic heroes, maps, and game modes as they were in 2016. This new Overwatch 2 game mode will be available from November 12 through December 2.

Recently, Overwatch 2 began teasing something retro coming to the FPS. Between a series of cryptic comments talking about nostalgia, profile pictures of the original Tracer design on social media, and a scheduled trailer, many fans suspected Overwatch 2 was planning something that evoked the original game.

Overwatch 2's 6v6 tests are going live this December, and its level of success could determine the fate of the game's current 5v5 format.

Now, it seems those suspicions have been proven correct. The new Overwatch 2 trailer has revealed Overwatch: Classic – a limited-time game mode that brings the game back to where it all began.
