Gamers eager to take advantage of now being able to pre-load STALKER 2 on Xbox will need to make sure they have a lot of space available on their devices. A first-person horror shooter, the Ukranian-developed STALKER 2 has gone through a number of delays over the past several years, but it seems its latest November 20 release date will finally be the one that sticks.
Earlier this year, STALKER developer GSC Game World ported over the original trilogy of the late 2000s to Xbox as a bundle named STALKER: Legends of the Zone, which included Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky, and Call of Pripyat. This move gave longtime fans of the series an enhanced walk down memory lane in the final months leading up to STALKER 2, but also served as an avenue for new fans to jump into the horror FPS franchise for the first time and become acquainted with the series' dark and gritty horror atmosphere.
After over a decade, the STALKER series is finally set to make its return with STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, a sequel with plenty of new features.
