Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket players can expect to see more content for the game in the coming couple of months. The new game launched early in November, giving players a new way to collect Pokémon cards. While the app currently features online battles and ways to show off your collection to friends, it's still missing some key parts of the TCG experience, such as trading. Also, while datamines have suggested a timeline for future releases, The Pokémon Company had yet to provide any firm details on when players can expect more cards.
The Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket Operations team recently provided updates via the official Pokémon website on card trading and future booster pack releases. The developers confirmed that more booster packs would be added to Pokémon TCG Pocket by the end of 2024.
Additionally, the development team is planning to add a feature that allows "certain cards" to be traded starting in 2025. More cards will "gradually" be eligible for trade in the future. Other new features are also in development but weren't detailed in the post. These features will be detailed closer to their release date.
