Monster Hunter Wilds had a pretty successful beta period recently, racking up a ridiculous number of players, who got to test out the game properly and put the character creator though its paces. It was a grand old time, and while there were a few complaints here and there, it was a display of confidence from Capcom, which knows full well it has another banger.

Capcom's blockbuster is already attracted hundreds of thousands of people. And that's just the open beta...

Unfortunately for Capcom, the release of the beta also brought the dataminers out of the woodwork, who were very keen to dive into the game's files to see what they could. This is how we already have a fairly comprehensive list of returning monsters, as dataminers quickly found the internal ID numbers for them, which are the same across all games in the series.

Dataminers weren't done there though, as even weeks on from the game's beta, new details about Monster Hunter Wilds are still making their way onto social media.
