Now, two months down the road, Blizzard feels satisfied with the work they've done. They're not abandoning the idea of more changes, but they're "really excited about the emergence of Delves taking root as a new pillar of the WoW endgame."
This information comes to us from a PCgamer interview with Ion Hazzikostas, the game director for World of Warcraft. In his opinion, much of the controversy around Delves was its focus on single-player experiences.
Delves were something new to the World of Warcraft ecosystem, and multiplayer-focused expectations caused a bit of friction. But with some adjustments, Hazzikostas believes that Delves have found their footing, and he looks forward to seeing how players enjoy them.
