Xbox players are still waiting patiently for Black Myth: Wukong but Microsoft's CEO of Gaming Phil Spencer hints that he knows its release date. When Black Myth was released in August, it proved to be an instantaneous hit, quickly becoming Steam's most-playing single-player game, and selling millions of units across both PC and PlayStation 5. The Xbox community was unfortunately left out of the hype cycle but it sounds like the wait for Game Science's cinematic action RPG could be coming to an end soon.
Speaking to Game File, Spencer was asked if he knows whether Black Myth: Wukong will ever be released on Xbox to which he simply responded. "I know." When pressed for further details, including a potential release window, the executive kept quiet, concluding the line of questioning by saying that he "can't say it" before laughing. While that may not be the kind of precise update Xbox players are looking for, it's still reassuring to hear Spencer seemingly confirm that Black Myth: Wukong will eventually come to Xbox after such a prolonged delay.
