A couple weeks back, the developers over at Iron Gate released a new major early access patch for Valheim. That Patch 0.219.13 introduced a new NPC trader – the Bog Witch – and the new feast system. The patch also added a bunch of new items and even three new skills.
It’s only natural when so much stuff gets added to a game all at once that some of it breaks or doesn’t work out quite as intended. As such, following a couple of minor bug-fixing patches, we now get Patch 0.219.16. This latest update fixes a number of assorted gamepad-related issues, most importantly an annoying bug that could prevent you from renaming your portals.
Along with the gamepad fixes, the patch also deals with a few potential exploits that could allow you to create extra gear by utilizing your Crafting skill, and another one where you could level up your Cooking skill without actually doing any cooking. And as a bonus, the patch also tweaks the Asksvin Cape to be more useful.
