A new Game of Thrones mobile game is coming out in 2025, with a first look revealed during The Game Awards. Although Game of Thrones ended several years ago, its legacy has lived on in the form of several HBO spinoffs, including House of the Dragon and the upcoming A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. Game of Thrones has seen several video game tie-ins over the years, including Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series, and several mobile games, though none have quite lived up to the standard of the show.
As revealed during The Game Awards 2024, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad will be released in 2025 and is described as an action-adventure RPG. Instead of playing as an existing character, players will control a new character from House Tyre, a small noble house in the North. Players will be able to customize their character and choose from one of three classes: Sellsword, Knight or Assassin. The game will launch on mobile in the Americas, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and the Middle East in 2025, with plans for Asia's release to be announced next year.
